Of Gems & Dresses

Fathers, those underappreciated of the parental persuasion, often have a sneaky way of being darling.  Witness this recent email from my Dad:

Thanks for calling today.. I really enjoyed hearing from you. You always have something interesting to say. You’re fun.

Love,

Dad

I want a dad like that.

Can’t wait to see your new party dress – are you doing it yourself?

That is really awesome, and I so appreciate you sharing it! It’s always uplifting to have your parent appreciate you as a person, adult, individual as well as a beloved child. Your dad is the best!

Love the new logo! Stunning. Hey, did you see Blogher from a couple of days ago? That was exactly the passage from your ROFL post that made me laugh out loud.

Ooh! A new blog dress? One can never be too settled in one’s template, nor one’s platform – that’s my view!

    Great note from your dad!
